This site uses AI in two places: the chat assistant (Maya) and a background lead-qualification classifier. Both are disclosed here. All final business decisions, follow-ups, and client engagements involve human review by Shree Mandadi.

AI systems in use

1. Maya (AI chat assistant)

Maya is an AI assistant that appears in the chat panel on every page. She is powered by a large language model API from an external AI provider, accessed via a server-side proxy. Maya's persona is designed to represent Shree Mandadi's professional background, services, and communication style, but her responses are generated automatically.

What Maya does:

  • Answers questions about services, background, and consulting approach
  • Asks clarifying questions to understand a visitor's situation
  • Qualifies whether an engagement might be a fit and suggests next steps

What Maya does not do:

  • Make binding commitments on behalf of Shree Mandadi
  • Provide professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise)
  • Access or modify any systems beyond the conversation itself

Maya's responses may be incorrect, outdated, or inconsistent. Always confirm important details with Shree directly before acting on them.

2. Lead classification

After each chat conversation, an AI classifier analyzes the transcript to extract contact details and summarize the visitor's intent. This classification is used to triage inbound inquiries. The classifier does not make any automated decisions that affect users: it is a tool to help Shree prioritize follow-up. All outreach is initiated by a human.

Data processed by AI

The following data is sent to an external AI provider's API:

  • The full text of chat conversations with Maya
  • Any personal information shared during the conversation (name, email, company, etc.)

Data is processed under the AI provider's data processing agreement. It is not used to train their models under our API agreement. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.

Human oversight

All conversations are subject to human review. Shree Mandadi reviews the lead pipeline, reads conversation summaries, and may read full transcripts before following up. No automated system reaches out to visitors or makes commitments without human involvement.

AI governance

This site and the consulting practice are committed to responsible AI use aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 principles, including:

  • Transparency about AI use (this disclosure)
  • Human oversight of all AI-assisted decisions
  • Data minimization: only what is needed to qualify an inquiry is processed
  • No automated profiling that produces legal or significant effects on visitors
  • Periodic review of AI system outputs for accuracy and fairness
